"Mr. Astronaut and the Rotten Fig"
is the full title of this drawing. i drew this the other day when i was feeling experimental. This piece is so different from all of my other work; i really don't know where it came from. It started more as an experiment with a new coloring technique but it kinda took on a new meaning as i continued it. i dind't think too much about the color choices but i do like how they came out.
to me, this drawing is about a fevered ambition that becomes more like a hunger. i guess it's supposed to show an uglier side.

OMG! I made something almost exactly like this except i didn't color mine and my mouth was longer in a kinda "aaargh!" sort of way.
But the nose,teetth and lips are scarily similar!
